Earnest Holley Memorial Theater

The Earnest Holley Memorial Theater was built in June 2001;  two brothers and one sister-in-law started with a dream and a passion.  They had a two car garage that was turned into a complete equiped theater style seating community theater.  The theater is 1360 sq ft and seats 55.  It has a lobby with three restrooms, two dressing rooms, prop area, and "green room".  When a dream turns into a passion anything can happen - AND IT DID!!!!

Our Business

In 2001 with a dream and a goal three people set out on a mission.  Sonny Holley, Suzette Holley and Danny Holley  began the journey.  During this journey there were many family members, friends, co-workers, and former employees who stepped in to help us get started.  When others are excited about helping you reach your dream and turn it into reality it is amazing what can happen.

During this time we have produced 9 plays.  These 9 plays had awesome actors, crew members, assistances, volunteers, and a lot of sweat, tears, laughters, smiles, and many many prayers.

The theater had some physical changes made during 2006-2007.  In 2008 we returned to continue the passion.

Who We Are

Earnest Holley, who passed in Feb. 2000, is the late father to Sonny Holley and Danny Holley and the late father-in-law to Suzette Holley. The theater was named after him in his memory  to honor him as a father/husband who is valued by his family.  In the lobby there is a beautiful drawing by his grandaughter and grandson-in-law - Heather and Sean Carson.  Along with the picture is a brief story of his life.

Sonny Holley is the eldest of 7 and the husband to Suzette Holley. He began his acting career in the 1980's.  He has performed on stage and in flims. Sonny took acting classes with Mr. Pickett and at Chris Wilson's acting studio.  He perfers the stage because live performances provides the most rewarding feeling.  Sonny is a project manager/estimator in construction.

Suzette Holley is a paralegal and has her own home based business as an Independent Mary Kay Consultant.  She spends her time working on managing and marketing the theater.
